Texans' Duane Brown is listed day-to-day with a sprained toe

Houston Texans left tackle Duane Brown is listed day-to-day because of a sprained toe suffered on Sept. 15 against the Tennessee Titans, Drew Dougherty reports.

Brown has not played in the last two games and had a step back last Thursday in practice. He was also listed as inactive in last Sunday's overtime loss 23-20 against the Seattle Seahawks.Head coach Gary Kubiak explained the situation with the All-Pro Left Tackle on Monday.
"Duane is upbeat,feeling very good today,I think Duane is still a day-to-day process as we work to the weekend and so we'll see.We'll know more as we get to Wednesday.The more time we get with Duane, the better."
Brown was drafted in the 2008 NFL draft by the Texans in the first round with the 26 selection. As a rookie, Brown played all 16 games and became the first Texans rookie linemen to start every game since Chester Pitts in 2002. He was named second team All-Pro by the Associated Press in 2011 for not allowing a single sack or committing a holding penalty.Furthermore,Brown was named 2012 All-Pro Team and voted to play in the 2013 Pro-Bowl. Brown has started and played in 76 games with the Texans and has three fumbles recovered.
