Denver Broncos at Dallas Cowboys
Sunday October 6th 4:25 PM (EST)
Line: Broncos by 3 & 1/2
Normally, the point of a game preview is to get the reader excited for the upcoming matchup. However, for this game I really can't find any reason for hype. Unless you are a fan of the Broncos or the 'Boys, you would probably have more fun just playing a game of Madden 25 with these two teams. I guarantee the final score will look very similar to that of the actual game.
Vegas has the Broncos as three-and-a-half point favorites when they visit AT&T Stadium Sunday, which I think is extremely generous. The Cowboys will likely be without wide receiver Miles Austin who is still dealing with a hamstring injury that he suffered two weeks ago in their 31-7 win over the St. Louis Rams. Fellow wide receiver Dwayne Harris may also be sidelined by a hip injury. Even if Harris and Austin both play, it would likely be on a limited basis, which will make it easier for Denver's defense to focus on shutting down the likes of wide receiver Dez Bryant, running back DeMarco Murray, and tight end Jason Witten.
As for Peyton Manning and company, it will be just another day at the office. Manning will pick apart Dallas' suspect secondary and cruise to another game of over 300 passing yards and more importantly for him, another Broncos victory. Take the Broncos minus the points, and be sure to have your copy of Madden 25 on deck for when this game gets out of hand.
Final score: Broncos 48 Cowboys 31
