Jaguars' Blaine Gabbert exits with hamstring injury

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Blaine Gabbert suffered a hamstring injury in Sundays' loss to the St. Louis Rams.

Gabbert finished the game 9-19 for 181 yards and one touchdown. He also threw two interceptions in a poor performance against the Rams. Chad Henne replaced Gabbert in the third quarter with 5:14 remaining and in the fourth quarter connected with wide receiver Cecil Shorts lll for a touchdown. Henne finished the game 7-13 for 89 yards and a touchdown. Head coach Gus Bradley may decide to keep Henne as the starting quarterback even if Gabbert returns to full health.

The Jaguars are 0-5 this season and are one of the worst teams in the NFL. If Gabbert doesn't show improvements, there might be a possibility that he will be out of a job. Gabbert was drafted by the Jaguars in 2011 with the 10th overall pick. He has played 28 games for the Jaguars has thrown 22 touchdowns to 24 interceptions.
