Bills’ Injury Report: Jairus Byrd, Marquise Goodwin, Stephon Gilmore

The Buffalo Bills take on the Cleveland Browns on Thursday night.  It is a short week for both teams and the Bills still need more time to get everyone healthy.  However, there is a game to play, so who is in and who is out?  Find out, in your Buffalo Bills Week 5 injury report.

Leading the list of three players marked as questionable is safety Jairus Byrd (foot) who was limited participation on Monday and full participation on Tuesday and Wednesday.  Byrd playing is a game time decision but this is the first time all year Byrd is full participation.  Byrd is a solid defender and he will be a welcomed addition to the Bills’ secondary.  As will defensive back Leodis McKelvin (hamstring) limited participation.  Rounding out the list is running back C.J. Spiller (ankle) who did not participate Monday and Tuesday and was limited participation on Wednesday.  Spiller, who injured his ankle last week against the Baltimore Ravens, claimed all this week that he would play even if not 100%.  Look for Spiller to be a game time decision as well.

The Bills have four players who are out for Sunday’s game.  They are cornerback Ron Brooks (foot) who did not participate all week, defensive back Stephon Gilmore (wrist) did not participate, wide receiver Marquise Goodwin (hand) limited participation and kicker Dustin Hopkins (right groin) who was limited participation Monday and Tuesday but did not participate on Wednesday.

The Bills have six players listed as probable.  Wide receiver Stevie Johnson (hamstring) limited participation, offensive lineman Kraig Urbik (knee) limited participation on Monday and Tuesday but was full participation on Wednesday, defensive lineman Mario Williams (ankle) limited participation, DL Kyle Williams (Achilles) limited participation, S Aaron Williams (lower back) limited participation and RB Fred Jackson (knee) limited participation.  Look for all listed as probable to see action Thursday night.
