Tampa Bay Buccaneers Wide Receiver Vincent Jackson left the game in the 3rd quarter against the Patriots which appeared to be a rib injury. However, sources have told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter that the injury is not considered to be serious for Jackson. Bucs coach Greg Schiano said though that he is uncertain if Jackson will play this coming weekend against the Arizona Cardinals.
Jackson is by far the best receiver on the Bucs. Through three games he has 15 receptions for 265 yards. If he were to miss any time for Tampa, it would be a huge loss for them as quarterback Josh Freemen would almost have no one else to throw to. Before coming to the Bucs, Jackson played for the Chargers for a few seasons being a receiver for Phillip Rivers. He made the playoffs a few times with them but has now failed to make it to the playoffs in all of seasons here in Tampa. Let's all hope he's doing well!
