The Oakland Raiders announced that quarterback Terrelle Pryor has been cleared to return to team meetings and participate in limited physical activity, but the signal caller has still not been given the OK to rejoin practice. As a result, backup Matt Flynn took reps with the Raiders' first-team offense, putting him in line to start this weekend.
Pryor still considers the concussion he sustained during Monday night's game against the Denver Broncos to be "mild," as he told reporters -- including Jerry McDonald of The Mercury News -- that he's been told he's making progress toward returning to play.

Pryor still considers the concussion he sustained during Monday night's game against the Denver Broncos to be "mild," as he told reporters -- including Jerry McDonald of The Mercury News -- that he's been told he's making progress toward returning to play.
"I think it was very mild, because I'm doing very well," Pryor said. "They said I'm making good steps toward being able to play."
Pryor has passed the first stage of the concussion protocol, but he is scheduled to take further tests on a computer to determine if he'll be able to practice today. Head coach Dennis Allen told reporters that he has no idea if Pryor will be able to suit up this weekend against the Washington Redskins. If he's unable to do so, Oakland would be forced to move forward with Flynn.
