The Detroit Lions clearly weren’t the same team offensively
without running back Reggie Bush on the field last week against the Washington
Redskins. Luckily for Detroit, it looks like they’ll be getting the dynamic
rusher back, as Bush was able to return to practice yesterday, according to Tim
Twentyman of DetroitLions.com.

Bush was sidelined last weekend by a knee injury suffered
during the team’s Week 2 matchup. He felt he was ready to suit up for Week 3,
but the Lions ultimately decided to hold him out. Detroit was able to win the
game without Bush in the backfield, but the offense struggled to move the ball
at times, and he was clearly missed.
In Bush’s absence, reserve Joique Bell did well, rushing for
63 yards and totaling 69 yards in receptions. Still, you can’t replace Bush,
and the Lions are certainly excited that he’s back at practice. Assuming there
are no setbacks, Bush should be suiting up this weekend against the Chicago
Bears.
