Chiefs' Brandon Flowers dealing with knee inflammation

Kansas City Chiefs cornerback Brandon Flowers was listed as questionable last Thursday night against the Eagles because of knee inflammation.  Flowers was able to play, but had to leave the game a little early due to the knee being sore.

Flowers is still dealing with the sore knee and did not practice on Monday and head coach Andy Reid said he didn't know when the cornerback would be back up to speed.  Reid is saying that the injury is a day to day thing.  The Chiefs started practice earlier this week than other teams because they had the Thursday night game, the extra rest may help Flowers out this week.

As of now it is unsure whether Flowers will be able to play, he is officially listed as questionable on the injury report.  If Flowers can't play this would be a big blow to the Chiefs secondary who has looked really good so far this season.  The Chiefs face the 0-3 Giants, but they have weapons on the outside who can make plays.  Don't let the record fool you, the Chiefs will need Flowers in this game.
