The Baltimore Ravens lost Sunday to the Buffalo Bills and I
think quarterback Joe Flacco just threw another interception to my Bernese
Mountain Dog, Bruin. The Ravens might be
destined for mediocrity this season and now they may be without a few more key
blackbirds as cornerback Lardarius Webb and wide receivers Deonte Thompson and Marlon
Brown suffered injuries in the loss.
Garrett Downing of Baltimore Ravens.com reports that cornerback Lardarius Webb left the game in the second quarter with a thigh injury and he did not return. Corey Graham took over and quickly got beat by Robert Woods for a 42-yard touchdown.
In addition, second-year receiver Deonte Thompson suffered a concussion late in the game. Bills safety Jim Leonhard hit Thompson helmet-to-helmet while Thompson hauled in a 33-yard pass down the sidelines. Thompson did not return.
In other related Ravens' injury news, the Ravens lost starting receiver Marlon Brown to a thigh injury. Head coach John Harbaugh channeled his Bill Belichick and told reporters, “We’ll see how that is tomorrow." Furthermore, reserve linebacker, Albert McClellan suffered a shoulder injury on Sunday.
