UPDATE: Patriots’ Injury Report: Rob Gronkowski, Aaron Dobson, Danny Amendola

The New England Patriots shuffle on off to Buffalo this Sunday for an AFC East showdown with the Bills.  Who is in?  Who is out?  Find out, in your New England Patriots Week 1 injury report.

The Patriots have one player, offensive lineman Will Svitek (knee) as out.  Svitek did not participate in Friday’s practice.

One player, tight end Rob Gronkowski (back/forearm) is listed as doubtful and had limited participation on Friday.  Any normal head coach would keep Gronk out in a very winnable game against the Bills. However, Bill Belichick is not a normal coach and if he feels Gronk can help the team win, he will play.  My concrete stomach and plastic brain tells me he will sit.

The Patriots have one player, wide receiver Danny Amendola (groin), listed as probable.  Amendola had full participation in practice Friday and based on his comments earlier in the week that he is ready to start the season and stop talking injuries, I say he plays.

The Patriots have four players listed as questionable and all four had limited participation in practice on Friday.  These Pats are running back Brandon Bolden (knee), wide receiver Aaron Dobson (hamstring) and defensive backs Nate Ebner (ankle) and Duron Harmon (hamstring).

Same rule all season will apply to the Patriots.  Any player on the injury report not listed as out has a chance to see action on any given game day.

UPDATE: Patriots have downgraded the following players to "out" for the Bills game:

Brandon Bolden
Aaron Dobson
Nate Ebner
Rob Gronkowski (he stayed in New England)
& Duron Harmon
