Chargers' Phillip Rivers doesn't think he needs to be fixed

Phillip Rivers was once a great quarterback for the San Diego Chargers, but Rivers has struggled the last couple of years with lower touchdowns and a higher number of interceptions.  Some wonder if Rivers is apart of the Chargers future plans, but others believe with a new scheme from head coach Mike McCoy and offensive coordinator Ken Whisenhunt Rivers will get back to being his old self.

The Chargers are going to run an offense that features quick passes and high-percentage throws that will benefit the team.  Rivers believes he doesn't need "fixed" and he hates that term.

"The thing that's gotten to me this offseason is, 'Who's going to fix Philip?' There's no question I'm responsible for some of the plays and some of the games we haven't won. I'm not going to shy away from that, But we can go sit in there and watch a lot of tape from last year, and I'll ask you, 'What do you want to fix?' It's just about eliminating some of the bad plays."
A lot of the success of the Chargers season will be riding on Phillip Rivers, he needs to have a great season if the Chargers want to make some noise this year, but if he struggles look for the whole Chargers team to struggle.
