The Buffalo Bills just announced that rookie quarterback,
Jeff Tuel, would start Week 1 against the New England Patriots and now with the
Gilmore announcement, the Bills must feel like they are on the run.
Bills defensive coordinator, Mike Pettine, who was hired
this season from the New York Jets, was counting on Gilmore being “Gilmore
Island” when it came to covering the opposing team’s best wide receivers. Pettine is creative defensively and likes to
use multiple defensive schemes. Gilmore’s
departure will limit Pettine’s bag of tricks and make it that much harder for the
Bills to keep the score of the games manageable.
