Ladarius Webb back for camp

Following the departure of Ray Lewis to retirement and Ed Reed to free agency, the Baltimore Ravens were due some good news on the defensive front.  They got it on Monday, when it was announced that cornerback Ladarius Webb will be back for training camp in late July following his anterior cruciate ligament injury in late October.

Defensive co-ordinator Dean Pees, speaking to Comcast Sports Net Baltimore cannot wait to get him back:

"He makes plays. He's a good tackler. It looks like he's a buck-fifty out there, but the guy throws his body around. He thinks he's a linebacker. The other part of it is just the way he plays, with the tenacity that he plays with. It just brings an extra spark to that whole secondary."

Webb was voted to second team All NFL in 2011, and without Reed on the team, the Ravens hope to boast an improved secondary in 2013 thanks to Ozzie Newsome's wheeling and dealing in the free agency market.
