Jets add Santonio Holmes to the active/PUP list.

The Jets continue to put distance between themselves and veteran wide-out Santonio Holmes. Holmes suffered a high-grade Lisfranc injury and is still struggling. Since getting hurt last year, Holmes has seemed to be a bit of a black sheep not welcomed by the team. There has been speculation that he will eventually be released.

Holmes has now been added to the team's physically unable to perform list going into training camp. Most would agree that few teams in the league would envy the New York Jets' front office, but this move does raise eyebrows. The Jets need to start combing the field for ball-catchers.

Mark Sanchez needs all the help that he can get. In the 4 games Holmes played in 2013 he was targeted a whooping 41 times. Mark obviously likes to look his way.

Fantasy Impact: At the moment, Holmes has very little fantasy value. Optimists in much deeper leagues might take a late-round gamble here, or those in a keeper league could hope the 30-year-old still has some gas left in his tank to contribute elsewhere in future seasons.
