Chiefs talking to Eric Fisher

The Chiefs drafted Eric Fisher with the overall No. 1 pick in the 2013 NFL draft in April, yet they have not signed him yet.

According to Len Pasquarelli, of the National Football Post:

"The Chiefs and Fisher have yet to have substantive talks, but they should start talking more seriously in the next week or so"

The price tags on rookie first round picks, are not anything like the mad $70m dollar payout to Sam Bradford, and the rookie wage scale simplifies matters in this area.

Fisher remains as the only Chiefs draft pick to remain unsigned.  Expect them to have something concrete in place before July 22nd, when rookies and quarterbacks must attend training camp before everyone else reports on July 26th.
