Agent Eric Metz says Mike Adams was stabbed in the stomach and though he had surgery, no vital organs were affected. Thank goodness

Adams was stabbed in the stomach when three assailants were attempting to steal his truck outside his Pittsburgh home. He reportedly gave chase even after the stabbing, and at one point he had a gun pointed at his face.
Luckily for Adams, the stabbing didn’t hit any vital organs.
Still, the wound required surgery, and Adams will be out for the next six to
eight weeks while recovering. His agent said that he will definitely be ready
in time for training camp.
