Redskins' Robert Griffin III cutting, changing directions

Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III continues to impress in his recovery process. Not oo long ago he began light running, and he's now reached the point where he's cutting and changing directions, according to Mike Jones of The Washington Post.

Jones added that Griffin was able to cut and change direction for three consecutive days without experiencing discomfort or facing a setback to his rehab program.

The next big steps for RGIII will be a pair of checkups with Dr. James Andrews, the surgeon who performed the operation on his knee. Based on the progress that Griffin has shown, these could prove nothing more than a normal checkup, but he will have to make it past the meeting with a clean bill of health if he wants to continue on his current trajectory of returning for training camp.
