Browns’ Trent Richardson expects to be ready for camp

It was recently reported that the Cleveland Browns were playing it safe with running back Trent Richardson’s leg injury, as they didn’t want it to develop into something more serious such as a stress fracture. As a result, Richardson would reportedly be out until August. However, the running back told The Plain Dealer -- via NFL.com -- that he expects to be back in time for training camp.
"No, no. I have not been told that. It's going to be better for me, better for the team, better for everybody (to) make sure that I'm back late July or early August, whenever we do start our real camp."
Not only does he expect to be ready for training camp, but Richardson insisted that if the Browns were playing this week he’d already be practicing and would be ready to suit up. He even said there is no pain in his leg. Cleveland is just taking it easy with him to ensure that this continues to be the case prior to training camp.

It’s easy to think the worst when you hear anything that has to do with an injury and Richardson. But this time it seems like the report may have been a bit overdone.
