The Houston Texans received a scare today when running back Arian Foster was carted off the practice field following an injury. That's the bad news, but the good news is that Foster is only dealing with a strained calf muscle, according to John McClain of The Houston Chronicle.
This will certainly be a situation to monitor, as you never want to have your top running back -- much less one of the best players in the NFL -- go down with an injury. However, it doesn't appear to be as serious of an injury as being carted off a field generally entails.
Foster is in the process of filming a movie in Cleveland, and it's unclear how this will impact that venture. It's likely that the Texans will take his recovery slow so that he'll be able to return for training camp.
