The Baltimore Ravens traded wide receiver Anquan Boldin to the San Francisco 49ers earlier this offseason following a dispute over the veteran's contract. Following the start of free agency and the NFL Draft, Baltimore continues its search for wide outs. Assistant general manager Eric DeCosta told Aaron Wilson of The Baltimore Sun that the Ravens are "still working" on acquiring a wide receiver.

"I think the hunt goes on," DeCosta said Monday night during The Baltimore Sun Sports Forum. "We're still working. The roster is not set. We're always evaluating. We're always looking at guys. Guys get signed, guys get cut. Our pro personnel department looks at all available players and we'll make a decision at some point of what we want to do at that position. There are definitely some players out there. We'll consider all options."
After dealing Boldin, the Ravens didn't sign a free agent wide out and waited until the seventh round to select Elon receiver Aaron Mellette. At this point, their corps of receivers includes Torrey Smith, Jacoby Jones, Tandon Doss, David Reed, LaQuan Williams and Deonte Thompson.
Baltimore insists their need at receiver isn't as urgent considering they have two solid tight ends on roster -- Ed Dickson and Dennis Pitta. The free agent options remaining aren't plentiful, but veterans Brandon Lloyd and Devery Henderson are unsigned. There also figures to be several wide outs cut at the end of training camp.
