Giants rumors: Josh Cribbs to visit New York

Cleveland Browns free agent wide receiver and kick returner Josh Cribbs recently met with the New York Jets. He's staying in-state for his next visit, as the Pro Bowler is set to meet with the New York Giants, according to Pro Football Talk.

The Giants were previously connected to Cribbs, as the club viewed him as a potential replacement for wide receiver Domenik Hixon, who signed with the Carolina Panthers earlier this offseason. Now that Cribbs is healthy, the Giants' interest in the talented returner has picked up once again.

Cribbs spent the first part of the offseason recovering from knee surgery. While team's -- including the Arizona Cardinals and New England Patriots -- initially showed interest in the free agent, he remained unsigned due to concerns surrounding his knee.

Now healthy, Cribbs has resumed meeting with potential suitors. He visited the Oakland Raiders earlier in the week and reportedly received an offer from the club. He'll continue his travels in hopes of other offers before ultimately making a decision on where to play next season.
