Tyson Clabo - 31 years old - signed a one year deal with the Miami Dolphins. The deal contains $1,500,000 in guaranteed money, and hold a maximum value of $3,500,000.
Trade talks with the Chiefs to acquire tackle Branden Albert went dark following the draft, and rumor-mill chatter that Miami would pursue free agent Bryant McKinnie vanished abruptly after McKinnie re-signed with the Ravens.
The Dolphins now have seven offensive tackles on roster: Jonathan Martin, Jeff Adams, Dallas Thomas, Will Yeatman, Andrew McDonald, Patrick Ward, and Tyson Clabo.
Clabo was undrafted in 2004 and has played for the Broncos, Giants, Chargers, and Falcons. At 6'6" 329lb, he will add good depth to the Dolphins offensive line. Clabo has a good history of staying healthy.
