After getting off to a solid start to the 2012 season, Dallas Cowboys linebacker Sean Lee has spent the past several months recovering from torn ligaments in his right big toe. The linebacker told Jon Machota of The Dallas Morning News that his "toe is ready to go," adding that he feels "pretty much 100 percent."

“The toe is ready to go,” Lee said. “I’m pretty much 100 percent. I’ll be going through all the OTAs and it’s getting better and better every week. Other than some soreness after practice, I’m pretty much 100 percent.”
Lee went as far as saying that, if there were a game being played tomorrow, he'd be able to suit up. Considering the regular season doesn't begin for another few months, Lee believes he'll be more than ready to return for Week 1.
Lee and the Cowboys will be shifting over from the 3-4 defensive Rob Ryan ran to the 4-3 scheme new defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin is implementing. Prior to suffering his injury last season, Lee led the team in tackles with 58 over the first six games of the season. Beyond his impressive tackle total, Lee also deflected three passes and one interception.
