Cowboys' DeMarco Murray still out with hamstring injury

Dallas Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray tweaked his hamstring last week during the team's organized team activities, an injury that was reported as minor at the time. This minor injury continues to sideline Murray into the second week of OTAs, according to Todd Archer of ESPN Dallas.

Rather than join his teammates in practice, Murray will continue to rehab his ailing hamstring. While he missed all of last week due to the injury, coach Jason Garrett is hopeful that Murray will be able to rejoin practice sessions at some point this week.

It's still extremely early, and the Cowboys are doing the right thing by keeping Murray out as long as necessary. He could continue to miss time through OTAs as Dallas attempts to fully heal the injury as to not encourage aggravation and re-injury moving forward.

Still, this is concerning considering Murray's history. The running back has missed nine games over the last two seasons due to a variety of leg injuries.
