Clemens signed with the Rams two seasons ago and has been
backing up starting quarterback Sam Bradford ever since. The nine-year veteran
made three starts for Bradford in 2011, and he appeared in two games last
season.
Prior to his time with the Rams, Clemens had been a reserve
option for the New York Jets and Houston Texans. Over two seasons in St. Louis,
Clemens has completed 49 of 94 passes for 585 yards with a pair of touchdowns
and interceptions.
