As he attempts his comeback to the NFL, it’s been speculated
that quarterback JaMarcus Russell could be a fit for the Chicago Bears or
Arizona Cardinals. However, both teams don’t appear to be interested in the
former first-overall pick.

The Bears are “not at all interested” in Russell, “not even
remotely,” according to ESPN Chicago’s Michael C. Wright, while Mike Jurecki of
XTRA 910 reports that the Cardinals have “zero interest” in the quarterback.
For those interested, the Bears are not AT ALL interested in J'Marcus Russell. Not even remotely.

Contrary to reports the Cardinals have zero interest in free agent QB JaMarcus Russell. #XTRA910 #AzCards #BirdGang

Once he loses enough weight, Russell hopes to hold out
private workouts for interested teams. This is certainly not a given, as no
teams have come out to express serious interest in the former Oakland Raiders
signal caller.
