The New York Jets chances of trading backup quarterback Tim
Tebow have been diminishing since the offseason began. Still, the team
continues to hold out hope that they can move Tebow and recoup some value. At
this point, there’s no trade “buzz” surrounding the quarterback, according to
Ian Rapoport of NFL.com.

NFL.com's Ian Rapoport said Tuesday on "NFL Total Access" there's no buzz connecting Tebow to another team at this time.
The Jets could simply cut ties with Tebow and allow him to
walk as a free agent. However, this would be considered a failure by the front
office and fans, as the team spent $2.5 million and two draft picks on the QB.
Tebow reportedly plans on continuing to go through the
motions with the Jets, as he’s set to participate in voluntary workouts if he
remains with the team. New York is open to keeping Tebow around for minicamp
and OTAs in the hopes that someone will eventually step up and make an offer
for him, according to Rapoport.
Still, it remains highly unlikely that Tebow is will the
Jets by the time training camp begins in July. The saga continues.
