The Miami Dolphins had their sights set on Kansas City Chiefs offensive lineman Branden Albert earlier this offseason. While those
talks appear to have stalled, the Dolphins have reportedly turned their
attention to another former Chiefs player. Adam Beasley of The Miami Herald
reports that the Dolphins have “maintained steady dialogue” with free agent offensive
lineman Eric Winston.

Source: Dolphins have maintained a steady dialogue with Eric Winston, and we should know in the near future if a deal is a real possibility.

Beasley adds that it should become clear in the near future
if there is a real possibility of a deal between Miami and Winston.
The Dolphins have a void to fill at tackle after former
All-Pro Jake Long signed a free agent deal with the St. Louis Rams. They have
Jonathan Martin to play on one side of the line, but they still need another tackle.
Miami drafted Dallas Thomas in the third round, but he’s viewed as more of a
guard than tackle.
Winston parted ways with the Chiefs in March, as he was cut
in order to free up cap space.
