The Tampa Bay Buccaneers attempted to trade running back
LeGarrette Blount earlier in the offseason, but to no avail. Now, with the NFL
Draft approaching, Stephen Holder of The Tampa Bay Times reports that Blount
could still be in play.

A non-Revis tweet: I understand that LeGarrette Blount still in play in potential trade. Couple teams interested. Draft trade possible #Bucs
— Stephen Holder (@HolderStephen) April 22, 2013
Holder adds that a “couple” of teams are expressing interest
in Blount, who could be moved in a draft-night trade.
Blount burst onto the NFL scene as an effective back and goal-line
specialist early in his career. However, his time and production were extremely
limited last year with the emergence of rookie sensation Doug Martin. For this
reason, Blount reportedly isn’t happy with the situation and could be asking
out.
Some team could send the Buccaneers a late-round draft pick
in exchange for Blount, who is only a few years removed from a 1,000-plus yard
rushing campaign.
