Most NFL Draft analysts believe former Syracuse quarterback Ryan Nassib will be the second QB selected tonight after West Virginia's Geno Smith. However, Peter King of Sports Illustrated has reported that the Buffalo Bills are now targeting former USC quarterback Matt Barkley and not Nassib.
The Bills have been tied to Nassib for some time, as he played his college ball in the state of New York and his head coach at Syracuse is now calling the shots in Buffalo. However, Buffalo has reportedly given Barkley and higher draft grade than Nassib.
This could of course be a smokescreen with the draft approaching. It's hard to say what might go on tonight considering there are no clear cut favorites among this year's quarterback class.
On the other hand, Buffalo could genuinely be interested in Barkley. We'll find out tonight.
