The Indianapolis Colts have been tied to wide receivers this
offseason, and one of their expected targets was New York Giants restricted
free agent Victor Cruz. However, team owner Jim Isray told reporters, including
Mike Chappell of The Indianapolis Star, that Cruz is not on the Colts’ list.

#colts owner Jim Irsay to media at owners' meetings:"it's not (Victor) Cruz, no". So that's one name to cross off the list.

Speculation began when Isray tweeted Saturday that the Colts
had been working on a deal for five days, adding they were “very close” to
finalizing the acquisition. He went on to add that the target was a wide
receiver, and later called the unnamed player a “whopper.”
After Dwayne Bowe re-signed, Anquan Boldin and Percy Harvin
were traded, and Mike Wallace, Wes Welker, Danny Amendola and Greg Jennings
signed elsewhere this offseason, there are few available names remaining on the
open market. This led to rumors that Indy was targeting Cruz, who is expected to
receive significant attention despite being tagged with a top tender.
