When cornerback Dunta Robinson left Sunday’s contest against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the first quarter due to a head injury, it was
expected he was dealing with a concussion. While no announcement was made
immediately after the game, the team finally announced the expected diagnosis
yesterday. Atlanta added that the cornerback is moving through the concussion
protocol quickly.

Since he’s moving quickly through the concussion protocol, head
coach Mike Smith expects Robinson to be ready for the Falcons’ divisional-round
matchup that will take place on Sunday, Jan. 13. Atlanta will either be facing
the Minnesota Vikings, Seattle Seahawks or Washington Redskins in that game.
