charged with DWI early Tuesday after his truck struck an 18-wheeler in
Grapevine, TX, according to Dan Hanzus of NFL.com.
Starting nose tackle Jay Ratliff was arrested and charged with DWI early Tuesday after his black Ford F-150 truck struck an 18-wheeler in Grapevine, Texas, police senior officer Sam Shemwell told NFL.com and NFL Network.
Ratliff was the only one in the vehicle and wasn’t injured
in the crash. Officers who responded to the accident determined he was
intoxicated and arrested him. He was later bonded out of jail on Tuesday
morning.
Ratliff refused a breath sample to determine his level of
intoxication, but blood was later drawn. The result of toxicology reports are
still pending.
Ratliff was limited to six games this season due to
injuries. The 31-year-old has spent all eight of his seasons in the NFL with
the Cowboys.
