Green Bay Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb was limited at
practice Wednesday and will once again participate on a limited basis today.
However, coach Mike McCarthy said the talented wide out will test his injuries
on Friday to see whether or not he’s fit to play this weekend against the
Minnesota Vikings, reports Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
Cobb will be limited today and tomorrow and then Friday will test to see how he's doing. In addition to ankle injury, his knee is hurt, too.
Beyond the ankle injury Cobb sustained last weekend against
the Tennessee Titans, the wide receiver is also dealing with an injured knee,
according to Silverstein. For this reason, it may be more likely that Green Bay
elects to keep him sidelined for their final game of the regular season.
The second-year wide out is in the midst of a breakout
campaign. So far this season Cobb has caught 80 passes for 954 yards and eight
touchdowns while playing a key role in the Packers’ return game.
