Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson (ankle) and wide receiver Percy Harvin (hamstring) were limited in practice, but the team is only resting its two best players.
While he’s landed on the Vikings’ injury report the last
several weeks with an ankle ailment, Peterson has shown no signs of slowing
down. He’s rushed for 278 yards over the past two weeks, and has 775 rushing
yards and four touchdowns over his first five games of the season.
Harvin has been nearly as impressive for Minnesota, as he’s
been quarterback Christian Ponder’s favorite target this year. The 24-year-old
has caught 60 passes for 667 yards and three touchdowns through five games.
