Pittsburgh Steelers running back Jonathan Dwyer had a big
game against the Washington Redskins last weekend, but he may be competing for
playing time with fellow backs Rashard Mendenhall and Isaac Redman this week,
reports Marc Sessler of NFL.com.

Jonathan Dwyer (quadricep) missed practice Wednesday and might have competition in the Pittsburgh Steelers’ backfield.
Dwyer was given practice off Wednesday to rest his injured
quad, while Mendenhall and Redman each participated. Mendenhall was limited during
practice as he attempts to recover from an Achilles injury. Redman didn’t seem
to be hampered by his ankle injury, as he participated fully in practice
yesterday.
This will certainly be something to keep an eye on for
football and fantasy fans alike. The Steelers will want to have all three running
backs available this week as they prepare for their matchup against the New
York Giants. However, it is yet to be determined which player will receive a
majority of the carries this weekend.
