While it remains unclear if Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback
Ben Roethlisberger (rib/shoulder) will be able to suit up this weekend against
the Baltimore Ravens, coach Mike Tomlin sounded positive regarding the chances
of wide receiver Antonio Brown (ankle) and safety Troy Polamalu (calf) playing
Sunday, reports Gregg Rosenthal of NFL.com.

Tomlin also sounded positive about wide receiver Antonio Brown (ankle) and safety Troy Polamalu (calf) returning to the field this week. Both players will practice Wednesday.
Tomlin told reporters yesterday that, at this point, veteran
backup Charlie Batch remains his starting quarterback against the Ravens. He
added that the team has “other guys” working and they will be reevaluated
throughout the week.
These “other guys” are of course Roethlisberger and Byron
Leftwich, who’s dealing with a rib injury. Roethlisberger is expected to test
his shoulder and rib injury today and throughout the week in hopes of suiting
up against Baltimore.
Brown has missed the last several weeks after sustaining a
high ankle sprain. He has become the team’s most consistent receiver this
season and the offense certainly isn’t the same without him on the field.
Polamalu has been sidelined more than he’s played this season as he’s been
hampered by a calf injury.
