Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning underwent a
concussion test late in the first half of the team’s victory over the Kansas
City Chiefs yesterday, but he was never forced to leave the game, reports Mike Klis of The Denver Post.

"I'm fine. Everything checked out OK, " Manning said as he walked out of Arrowhead Stadium toward the team bus. "I took a hit there, but I was cleared."
Manning took a hit to the head while throwing a touchdown
pass to tight end Jacob Tamme late in the second quarter. After he threw the
pass, Chiefs defensive lineman Tyson Jackson hit Manning and knocked him to the
ground. As he fell, the back of his helmet slammed against the turf.
While Manning was checked out by the training staff and
given a concussion test, the veteran passed and didn’t miss a snap in the game.
