Oakland Raiders running back Darren McFadden was injured in last weeks game against the Washington Redskins. At the time it was believed the injury could be serious, but according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network he may have avoided serious injury.
McFadden's health will be key for the Raiders this week because not only did McFadden get hurt, but back up running back/fullback Marcel Reece was also injured in that game. Reece suffered a knee injury in that game and he received an MRI and it came back negative, his status for this week is also uncertain. The Raiders will be very thin at running back if neither one of these guys can go next week.

Sounds like #Raiders RB Darren McFadden's hamstring injury isn't a major one. We'll see about this Sunday, but he avoided serious injuryThe official word on the injury is a strained hamstring. It is unclear whether McFadden will be able to give it a go this week or not, but it sounds like the Raiders dodged a bullet here. Injuries have been a problem for McFadden in the past. McFadden is in his 6th year in the NFL and he has never played a full season in the NFL and has already been dealing with a shoulder problem earlier this year.
