Titans Injury Report: Kenny Britt, Shonn Greene, Jake Locker

The Tennessee Titans host the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday in a week five matchup between two AFC teams that are surprising people this season. At 3-1, the Titans are tied with the Indianapolis Colts for first in the division. They'll be looking to deliver the Chiefs their first loss of the season, but Tennesseee will be without starting quarterback Jake Locker. The young quarterback sprained his hip last week in a 38-13 win against the New York Jets.

The good news is that Locker will not require surgery to repair the hip, which means he won't miss the rest of the season. According to team sources, Locker will be out 4-6 weeks, which means he could return as soon as week nine when the Titans play the St. Louis Rams following the bye week.

Here is a complete Titans' week five injury list.

Will Play: Kenny Britt (neck/ribs)

Britt sat out last week with bruised ribs and a strained neck. Second-year receiver, Kendall Wright played well with Britt out of the lineup, catching five passes for 56 yards. Britt returned to practice this week and should be ready to start on Sunday against the Chiefs.

Questionable: Patrick Bailey (hamstring), Ropati Pitoitua (shoulder), David Stewart (calf), Blidi Wreh-Wilson (hamstring)

Tennessee has four players listed as game-time decisions. After starting the first three weeks at right tackle, Stewart sat out last week's home win. Once again, Stewart will be a close call to play this week against Kansas City. Although facing the pass rushing duo of Justin Houston and Tambi Hali, the Titans would like to have their veteran tackle in the lineup. The good news is that Stewart fully practiced on Friday, so this could be a good sign he'll play on Sunday.

Out: Shonn Greene (knee), Sammie Hill (ankle), Jake Locker (hip/knee)

Greene will continue to miss time with the knee injury he suffered in the season opener. Hill will miss a third straight week with the ankle injury he suffered in week two against the Houston Texans. Former Bill's starting quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick will get the start with Locker out.
