Vikings Injury Report: Christian Ponder

Some of the biggest news in the NFL this week was whether or not Christian Ponder would start at quarterback for the Vikings this week. The answer is no, as he will sit with a rib injury. Matt Cassel will start in his place as the team takes on the Steelers in London, looking for their first win of the season.

Kevin Williams and star running back Adrian Peterson were also listed on the report but are both probable. Williams has been recovering from a knee injury he sustained during the preseason, while Peterson's lack of practice was a coach's decision.

RB Matt Asiata (hamstring), long snapper Cullen Loeffler (neck), linebacker Erin Henderson (heel), and cornerback A.J. Jefferson (ankle) are all probable for the game. While CB Chris Cook (groin), tight end Rhett Ellison (knee), and safety Jamarca Sanford (hamstring) are all out.
