The Tennessee Titans were able to collect another impressive
win yesterday, but the team lost starting quarterback Jake Locker in the
process. Locker had to be carted off the field after suffering a hip injury,
and the quarterback was ultimately admitted to the hospital for further review,
according to John Glennon of the Tennessean.
Locker is being admitted to St. Thomas Midtown Hospital, which means he's not just being treated and released. #Titans

As Glennon notes, this was not a simple case of Locker being
taken to the hospital for review after which he was released the same day.
Instead, doctors kept Locker at the hospital overnight for observation.
At this point, the Titans do not believe Locker is dealing with
a dislocated hip. Locker wasn’t rushed to the hospital to undergo emergency
surgery but instead to determine the extent of the damage done to his hip.
Locker suffered the injury on a hit from New York Jets
defensive end Muhammad Wilkerson. After landing awkwardly on his right leg,
Locker laid on the ground completely still for some time. He was replaced by
former Buffalo Bills starting quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick.
