Lions Injury Report; Calvin Johnson, Ziggy Ansah, Louis Delmas

The Detroit Lions released their first injury report of the season on Wednesday, and it seems as though the team will be relatively healthy as they enter the year's first matchup against the Minnesota Vikings.

Wide receiver Calvin Johnson, who had been ailing from a knee injury throughout the off-season, was never in any real danger of missing regular season time. He was not among those listed on the Lions report. In fact, there were only three names on the list; they included Louis Delmas, Jason Jones, and Ezekiel Ansah.
Ansah's appearance on the report was anticipated, and cemented the speculation that he had suffered a concussion during a practice last week. He was able to practice in full on Friday and is listed as probable for the game Sunday, according to Chris McCosky of the Detroit News.

Delmas and Jones have both been suffering from knee injuries, but were listed as probable on the report.
Both missed practice on Friday, however they are expected to take the field with the starters Sunday. Jones signed a three-year deal with the team, after spending the 2012 season with the Seahawks. Delmas resigned with Detroit as an unrestricted free agent this this off-season; he has been with the team since he was drafted in 2009.

Meanwhile, linebacker Cory Greenwood(waived), running back Montell Owens(knee), and tight end Michael Williams(hand) will spend the season on injured reserve with Owens receiving the designated for return designation; he is eligible to return week 9 against the Chicago Bears.
