Steelers’ Injury Report: Le’Veon Bell, Jarvis Jones, Heath Miller

The Pittsburgh Steelers host the Tennessee Titans Sunday afternoon.  Who is in?  Who is out?  Find out, in your Pittsburgh Steelers Week 1 injury report.

The Steelers have two of their top rookies on the report this week and that is a little troubling.  Rookie running back Le’Veon Bell (foot) has been battling injuries all preseason and is out for the home opener.  Bell did not participate in practice all week.  Rookie linebacker Jarvis Jones (chest) was limited participation in practice for Wednesday and was full participation in practice for Thursday and Friday.  Jones is listed as probable so look for Dawg Bones to get some chances to bury Jake Locker on Sunday.

Also listed as probable are defensive end Bret Keisel (not injury related) and fullback Will Johnson (hamstring).  Johnson was full participation on Friday and Keisel was limited participation for Friday’s practice.

Tight end Heath Miller (knee) is listed as doubtful and had limited participation all week.  Miller is still rehabbing after major knee surgery in the offseason and if I woke up this morning with my head sewn to the carpet I would not be more surprised than if he was active for Sunday.
