Jaguars Injury Report: Maurice Jones-Drew, Blaine Gabbert, Mercedes Lewis

The Jacksonville Jaguars will travel to Seattle to play the Seahawks on Sunday. Seattle already presents a big challenge on game day, but to add to that, the Jaguars could be without a few key players. Maurice Jones-Drew headlines the week three injury list. He finally recovered from the Lisfranc fracture in the offseason, but in Sunday's loss against the Oakland Raiders he sprained his ankle and left the game early. The good news is his MRI on Monday came back negative, giving the team some hope he may play this week.

Here are the rest of the Jaguars week three injuries:

Will Play: Roy Miller (knee), Will Rackley (knee), Allen Reisner (toe), Ace Sanders (ribs), J.T. Thomas (hamstring)

Despite being limited in practice, all five players look like good bets to play against Seattle. Miller sat out practice Thursday to rest his knee, but he returned in limited fashion on Friday. Rackley has started the first two games of the season despite dealing with the knee injury.

Questionable: Alan Ball (groin), Maurice Jones-Drew (ankle), Uche Nwaneri (knee)

After having a slow start to the season because of a Lisfranc fracture, Jones-Drew sprained his ankle in week two's loss against the Oakland Raiders. MJD will be a game-time decision for the Seattle game, but if he's not ready to go, Jordan Todman will get the start instead.

Ball has sat out practice all week with a groin injury. If he can't play then the Jaguars will be without both starting corners for Sunday's game. However, Ball did play against Oakland despite the injury, so his chances are still good.

Out: Mike Brown (back), Blaine Gabbert (hand), Dwayne Gratz (ankle), Mercedes Lewis (calf)

Four players have already been ruled out for Sunday. Gabbert will miss at least one more game with a lacerated hand he suffered in the season opener. Team doctors are taking precautions the quarterback's hand doesn't get infected, meaning Chad Henne will get the start for the second week in a row.

Gratz will be out for the foreseeable future, and Lewis still has yet to play this season because of a strained calf.

Stay tuned for more Jacksonville Jaguars injury updates.
