New Orleans Saints starting wide receiver Marques Colston returns for his first game action of the preseason. The saints have been slowly progressing Colston who has been dealing with a foot injury all training camp. Colston played with the second string offense and had one catch for 18 yards in two series. Sean Payton had this to say on why he played Colston in the fourth preseason game.

I have a hard time playing a guy that doesn't play at all, We did it with Pierre (Thomas) some a week ago. We did it with Patrick Robinson. I would have liked to have done it with Junior (Galette). But we're going to wait. When they don't get those snaps, it's just important to get guys ready to go. -courtesy of NOLA.comSaints quarterback Drew Brees hopes he and Colston can pick up exactly where the combo left off. Colston lead the team with 83 receptions for 1,154 yards and 10 touchdowns. Look for those numbers to increase as Head Coach Sean Payton returns after being suspended for the entire 2012 season. With the addition of Defensive Coordinator Rob Ryan New Orleans should be contenders for the NFC South title.
