Two relatively surprising cuts were announced earlier today when Jimmy Clausen and Drayton Florence were let go by the Panthers. The final cuts were announced shortly after and one of them was not Domenik Hixon. Below is the list of players that did not make the final 53 man roster.
Wide receiver Brenton Bersin, WR James Shaw, WR David Gettis, WR Taulib Ikharo, Linebacker Jason Williams, LB Ben Jacobs, LB Doug Hogue, Tackle Garrett Chisolm, Guard Hayworth Hicks, Tight End Zack Pianalto, Running Back Tauren Poole, Defensive End Craig Roh, Defensive Tackle Casey Walker, Guard Tori Mobley, Safety D.J. Campbell, S Anderson Russell.
These players still have a chance at making the Panthers' practice squad and could be picked up by other teams.
