The goal for teams and players alike during the fourth
preseason game is to exit the field healthy. Unfortunately for Tampa Bay
Buccaneers tight end Tom Crabtree, his exit came via a cart. Crabtree left the
game after suffering a lower-leg injury, according to Roy Cummings of the Tampa
Bay Tribune, an ailment that was ultimately diagnosed as a sprained left ankle.

Crabtree suffered the injury while attempting to clear a
hole for running back Mike James. After hitting the ground, Crabtree reached
for his ankle in pain before he left the field on a cart.
Following his early exit, Crabtree received X-rays on his
ankle, which came back negative. Further evaluation will be required to
determine the extent of the injury, as Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times
points out that the results only show that his ankle isn’t broken.

Crabtree entered training camp competing for the Bucs’
starting tight end gig with Luke Stocker. Even if he wouldn’t have been named
the starter, he was slated to see significant time in two tight end sets. He
was replaced by Tampa Bay’s third stringer Nate Byham.

well, obviously a reveler is more or less pressing your weight up with your ankles, however in dance you get the benefit of having momentum.
