Chicago Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall underwent arthroscopic hip surgery earlier this offseason, and he’s since been working
his way back to be cleared to participate in on-field activity. He received the
green light from the team yesterday and announced the news via his Twitter
account.
Just got cleared to get back out there with my teammates. #Glory. Only right to get in the zone by blasting @unclereeceUntil I pass out.

Marshall underwent the scope just after the end of the
season. His hip has given him problems for the last several years, and this
wasn’t the first procedure he’s undergone as a result. Since the ailment
lingered last season, Chicago elected to have him go under the knife during the
offseason to hopefully reduce the discomfort.
