Titans are discussing the possibility of signing former Falcons DE John Abraham to a deal that could be done this week.

Abraham visited with the Titans last week, one of several pass rushers to meet the team recently. Tennessee already has defensive ends
Kamerion Wimbley and Derrick Morgan on its roster, so if a deal is ultimately
reached with Abraham, he would likely be used as a situational pass rusher.
This could be a tough pill to swallow for Abraham, who had
10 sacks last season. Still, a market for his services has yet to develop since he was cut by the Falcons. There was talk of his pending retirement, but that was shot down over the weekend. Instead, it appears the 35-year-old Abraham
will simply have to take on a reduced role in order to continue his playing
career.
